At the Colorado Center for Physical Therapy, we provide traditional physical therapy applications and can combine them with an array of select, time tested natural health approaches. Every client is given a custom tailored rehabilitation program that is based on the referring doctor's requests, and also the client's rehabilitation needs & comfort levels. For example, our application of deep tissue (neuromuscular) therapy has proven to be a dynamic compliment to our physical
therapy approach. With it, we can effectively access and treat areas of the body that most other physical therapists cannot. We believe it is
an important missing link to the modern day physical therapy approach.
We can also impart Somatic Movement Therapy and the profound postural, graceful movement, & flexibility improvements that it can produce in a short period of time. Core strength, spinal stability, and balance are maximized through the skilled implementation of Pilates and Hatha Yoga based practices. That being said, you do not need to know anything about yoga, Pilates, or movement therapy to be a client here. In fact, you may not even know that you have been given exercises & practices that are rooted in these systems. What you will realize in a big way is that the exercises we provide are exactly what your body needs to support the healing process so that you can experience decreased pain, more vitality, and normal function once again.
We enjoy keeping students, serious athletes and
dance professionals at the top of their game, supporting seniors with high quality fitness and flexibility, teaching prevention,
and giving couch potatoes a glimpse of what's possible.
